Most brides like to come three to four months before but that’s totally up to you. Most want to do it then because they are more certain of the look they are wanting and less likely to change their looks or colors the day of the wedding. Some brides that live out of state, sign the contract to secure the date for the wedding and come a week or two before their wedding for their trial. On the other hand, we do have some others that want to come right away because they want to have a trial before booking, and don’t want their day to be booked if they wait too close to their wedding day. At the end, the decision of when to come for the trial run is yours and we will accommodate your requested date.

You can expect you trial run/consultation to last 60-90 mins (makeup only, if you’re also coming in for hair trial it will be an additional 60-90 minutes). First, we will start off by discussing all the details of your wedding -dresses, flowers, theme, etc… We will also discuss what makeup, if any, you wear on a normal basis. We will look over any pictures you have sent to us or brought with you and go over your ideas and what looks you are envisioning for your wedding day. Once you have decided, we will start with the makeup application or hairdo and tweak anything we need to. If your mother or bridesmaids would like a trial run as well, we can do it at the same appointment or schedule it when it is convenient to them. We want you to be 100% content with your look and we will make that happen.

*We kindly ask for you to wash and blow-dry your hair straight a day before the trial. We will appreciate pictures of makeup looks or hairdos sent to us ahead of time. We also ask for you to send a picture of yourself for us to see the complexion and tone of your skin, or texture and length of your hair that way we have the right products for your skin and hair ready.
